Delivering a Unique Sense of Purpose
As we enter our 25th year, Pro Watercross has taken on a mission that more outwardly reflects the ideals and core values we have always held dear. Since our humble beginnings, we have always worked to ensure our events have been conducted safely, and with respect for the marine environment.
Now, as an Educational Nonprofit Organization, we provide expanded value, while promoting the precious camaraderie of amateur competition, all while advancing the missions of promoting safety and increasing personal responsibility toward our environment. We have chosen to lead by example. To us, it’s an equation that just makes sense.
Our competitive events all have their own safety requirements and regimens that have evolved over the lifespan of each sport. From obvious things safety features aboard equipment used, and best practices for course design and competition rules, to sponsoring free, regular safety classes and workshops to educate everyone from competitors to first responders on water-related safety.
In the 25-year history of Pro Watercross, our organization has grown from a startup to become the sport’s only true, national tour sanctioning body. With the addition of competitive circuits like our World Championship, HydroFlight, SupXross™, and our new Recreational Tour, our circles have expanded to include athletes and enthusiasts alike. It is the center of our mission to promote the social and competitive camaraderie that makes these activities so special.
Taking personal responsibility to keep our environment and areas we touch cleaner than we found them.
COURSE SWEEPS – Riding the course with our specialized PK Paks to collect debris.
EQUIPMENT CHECKS – To help prevent the introduction of fuel or other fluids into the environment.
CLEAN GROUNDS – A perpetual action, with all Tour personnel and attendees being asked to always make sure that trash is never found anywhere on or near our events.
The Pro Watercross Tour travels the USA to some of the most beautiful beach and parks in the country.
