WHY PRE-REGISTER?
What is the advantage to pre-registering? 
Cost to you as a competitor... You will see that pre-register pricing for the National Championships is $170 for amateur classes, $110 for junior classes and $240 for Pro-Am classes. Friday onsite registration will add $10 per class and Saturday morning registration will add $25 per class to the above prices.

Bolded Classes-Tour points determine National Champions
NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP (PRO/PRO-AM CLASSES PER DESIGNATION)
- National Champions: The Pro Watercross National Champion will be crowned from points earned throughout the Pro Watercross National Tour including the Pro Watercross National Championships in Lake Charles, LA, will be counted as double points for designated Pro/Pro-Am classes.
- Amateur and Pro Freestyle: Amateur and Pro Freestylists will earn their National ranking from their finish based on the points earned throughout the Pro Watercross National Tour.
NATIONAL TOUR POINTS CHAMPIONSHIP (AMATEUR/NOVICE CLASSES PER DESIGNATION)
- National tour awards: Pro Watercross National Tour awards will be awarded to the top 3 riders in the designated National Tour Amateur and Novice classes. Amateur and Novice competitors must compete in a minimum of three national tour stops. This is not the competitors earned number and national ranking. National ranking and numbers are awarded based on the National Championships in Lake Charles, LA.
NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP (AMATEUR/NOVICE CLASSES PER DESIGNATION) aka NATIONAL CHAMPIONS
- Class championships: The Pro Watercross National Championships are the Pro Watercross' season finale for Closed Course racing and Amateur and Pro Freestyle. Champions will be determined in Amateur and Novice classes by their overall finish in each of the designated classes.
- Beginner classes: *beginner classes will be awarded to the top 3 riders in each class at the Pro Watercross National Championships, but will not receive a Championship title or Tour Points awards.
- Championship awards: The Pro Watercross National Championship awards will be awarded to the top 3 riders in each of the recognized Pro Watercross National Championship classes. This is the competitors earned number and national ranking for Amateur and Novice classes.

- NEW LOCATION @ NOTH BEACH... WEST END OF THE PARK.
- Park must be approached via I-10 West to Exit 30A (I-10 Service Rd/N Lakeshore Drive).
- Once you pass through the underpass of I-10, proceed directly into the parking area on the right hand side.

AWARDS:
- The Award Ceremony is scheduled to begin 30 minutes after the completion of the days racing.
Competitors are required to attend the award ceremony to receive prize money and awards. Competitors that cannot attend the awards ceremony must inform the Race Director and event organizer.
- Competitors must make arrangements to claim their award within 30 days or forfeit the award. Should the award need to be shipped, it is the responsibility of the competitor to bear the cost for any shipping and handling fees to ship the award to the competitor.
PRIZE MONEY:
- Pro Watercross National Tour prize money and contingency money can be found by clicking here…
- Taxes: Any Competitors with over $600 in winnings from an individual event organizer or the Pro Watercross at the end of the calendar year will be issued a 1099 tax form for the following year for tax season.
- Contingencies: It is the Competitor's responsibility to know what manufacturers and other sponsors contingency program requirements are and to follow up on all necessary procedures to collect on these programs.
