We are excited at the prospect of our lives moving forward again, especially with having to cancel another event due to the Covid-19 pandemic. We received unfortunate news this week that the South Padre Island, Texas tour stop has been postponed for 2020 and will be added to the 2021 Tour Schedule!
While the National Tour has unfortunately already been affected by this pandemic with the cancellation of several tour stops, we have needed to condense and redesigned schedule for the remainder of the season which will now kick off on June 13th in Panama City Beach, Florida at Sharky’s Beachfront Restaurant… Sharky’s is just north of Pier Park, which is one of Florida’s leading outdoor malls, shopping, movie theaters, restaurants with locally caught seafood and lots of nearby outdoor entertainment and fun!

Following Panama City Beach, the Tour heads north to Lake Hartwell on June 27-28th at Tugaloo State Park in Lavonia, Georgia. Lake Hartwell region has been voted one of the best race sites on the Tour, and Tugaloo State Park is an awesome location for our racing and recreational events. Franklin County is the gateway to Lake Hartwell and where you can watch beautiful sunrises at Tugaloo’s mega ramp…
Racine, WI, July 18-19th is located on the beautiful shores of Lake Michigan and about 30 minutes south of Milwaukee. North Beach Park’s massive beaches and gorgeous weather brings racers from all over… not only is this a fantastic race site, downtown Racine is a great destination in itself… local restaurants and pubs, shopping, historical charm, and museums just to mention a few!
The Tour will wrap up in Lake Charles, Louisiana, August 9-10th, Lake Charles became host of the Pro Watercross National Championships in 2019 and we will be working with Lake Charles to make this event bigger and greater each year moving forward! There is so much to do and enjoy in Lake Charles along with winning the title as Pro Watercross National Champion… resorts, water parks, casinos, nature trails, racetracks and the list goes on and on!
The Pro Watercross National Tour will play an important role in boosting the economies for each remaining tour stop; restaurants, hotels and local businesses will all benefit from competitors, their pit crews, families, and fans attendance.
We are encouraging everyone to please attend as many tour stops, as possible, whether you are there to participate or just enjoy the racing – you can make a difference in helping to get our great nation moving again!!!
Join Pro Watercross this season and let’s work together to get the country back on its feet and have some fun while we are doing it! In case you have not already heard this… practice social distancing, wear a mask and for goodness sake, please wash your hands!
